ROADS is the Rapid Order And Distribution System developed by Darklake Developments that seamlessly integrates with Pegasus Opera 3. It has been designed to be used by any business that has either a telesales operation, or delivers a range of goods to customers on a regular basis. ROADS provides the power and flexibility to cope with the demands of an intensive product sales organisation by managing call cycles, order/buying history, order templates and delivery rounds/routes, ROADS will enable you to be more productive, responsive, and efficient within your telesales and order processing activities. There are two versions of the ROADS solution:

The full version of ROADS replaces the Opera 3 Sales Order Processing functionality to provide features specific to a fast moving and high-pressure telesales and distribution business. ROADS Lite is a subset of the ROADS solution and provides a front-end telesales solution to the standard Sales Order Processing system. ROADS

ROADS and ROADS Lite both contain the following features and functionality:

The full ROADS solution also contains:

· On-Screen Picking List instant access to product information allowing quicker transactions

· Dual Quantities e.g. Units to Kilos conversion providing easier ordering and picking

· Stock Backflushing e.g. cutting cheese in different weights and then reducing the total weight of the base item with the total cut

· Auto-Batch Allocation simplified stock management of batch traceable items

· Despatch Confirmation allows for proactive customer service

· Round Loading Lists enable items to be loaded in the correct delivery sequence

· Delivery Notes by Round or Route efficient dispatch control

ROADS and ROADS Lite also have some optional features, including

· Periodic Consolidated Invoicing provides the ability to display a matrix of each product sold against the days in which it was sold. Periods can be set against each customer and can include weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly or calendar month

· Multi-Currency integrates with the Opera 3 multi-currency functionality, enabling orders to be placed and billed in the customer’s own currency of choice
