Pegasus launches Opera II Version 5

Enhanced functionality for leading financial and performance management solution

Pegasus has moved forward with a key part of its strategy of producing an integrated intelligent business mid-market solution with the release of Opera II Version 5. For the first time, Opera II will allow businesses to connect all areas of the company to give a unified view of all activity; a luxury only previously available with much more expensive system implementations.

Traditional accounting systems allow large amounts of information to be entered, but make it hard, if not impossible, to get the information out and in the format required by the different business managers and stakeholders across an organisation. To acquire this level of business information a significant investment of both time and money is frequently required; not only in terms of the consultants essential to develop an enterprise level solution, but also in bringing together disparate systems and sets of data to achieve the required results. Pegasus has been working at bringing all the right tools together in one integrated system within a budget more appropriate to many of today’s demanding businesses.

There is little doubt that Opera II has been a great success story since its launch and is now used by over 20,000 businesses. It is by far the leading modular financial management system available today. In addition to over 1000 technological and user interface changes such as the adoption of MS SQL Server 2005, Opera II Version 5 also includes 50 major functional enhancements across the product in key areas such as Financials, Supply Chain Management, Payroll & HR and Reporting.
